Matthew McConaughey, futur héros d'Interstellar de Christopher Nolan

Le prochain héros de Christopher Nolan dans son film de SF top secret Interstellar pourrait être joué par Matthew McConaughey, d'après Deadline, qui rapporte que Nolan lui aurait proposé le rôle d'un certain Cooper -et c'est tout ce que l'on sait de son personnage... Même Deadline n'a pas plus de détails, le site estimant qu'en savoir plus sur un projet de Nolan "est plus difficile que connaître le processus de sélection du Pape". On sait seulement que le prochain film du réalisateur d'Inception et de la trilogie Batman (qui s'est achevée triomphalement avec The Dark Knight Rises l'an passé) est un ambitieux projet de science-fiction écrit par son frère Jonathan Nolan (Steven Spielberg a failli réaliser le film), et qui devrait traiter des voyages dans le temps, l'espace et autres univers parallèles avec une base scientifique "réaliste". Et Interstellar doit sortir le 5 novembre 2014 en France. Voil .Si cette nouvelle est confirmée et la production et l'acteur parviennent signer un contrat, cela pourrait être un véritable tournant dans la carrière de McConaughey plutôt tournée vers l'indé - l'instar d'un certain Christian Bale (qui a connu un effet avant/après Batman Begins)- bien que Matthew connaisse une carrière assez riche ces derniers temps : flippant dans le remarqué Killer Joe de William Friedkin, sexy dans Paperboy de Lee Daniels et Magic Mike de Steven Soderbergh. Excellent en stripper texan face Channing Tatum, McConaughey a reçu pour ce rôle l'Independent Spirit Award. On le retrouvera même face Leonardo DiCaprio et Jean Dujardin dans The Wolf of Wall Street de Martin Scorsese. Et cet Interstellar pourrait lui donner le premier rôle dans un blockbuster.En attendant d'en savoir plus et de voir pour patienter Man of Steel, le Superman produit par Chris Nolan (en salles le 19 juin), on retrouvera Matthew McConaughey en fugitif en planque au fin fond des marais du Sud (...)
